Professional Protection Scheme has been launched to provide a platform for medical professionals who are members of IMA to exercise their right to obtain legal support for any cases of medical negligence or otherwise which have been put up in civil courts and consumer redressal forums by patients. This scheme is particularly launched to help assess and provide ample and adequate support to the doctor through the combined help of the medical association, its team of experienced lawyers and its wealth of knowledge pertaining to legal matters from different parts of the country. The scheme aims to act as a vehicle for amalgamation of thoughts, ideas and legal points to benefit the doctor in putting up a strong and vindictive case against the said issues.
